This is my homebrew QRP
transmitter that uses a 6L6 tube and puts out 4.5 watts. I found
all the parts I needed at ham fests.. I have worked many stations and the
reports I get
are...."sounds great! had one myself in '43..wish I still had it!"

Here is a two tube superhet
receiver that I built out of the 1943 handbook as a companion for
my transmitter.. It originally used headphones only so I built a small tube
amp inside a speaker
so I could eliminate the headphones.
