Hello my name is George Poteat
and I am from Dallas, NC... located in the center of Gaston County

 I hold an Amateur Extra Class License

I am a co-founder of the Gaston County Amateur Radio society
and the 2006 President.

I am also currently the EC for Gaston County, having served in 2009 and
2010, terms lasting from January 01 through December 31 in our county.
We have upgraded our radio system during this time through some grants
to include 3 ID-880H D-STAR radios and a FT-450 Yaesu for the EOC. We
also received six two meter handhelds to use with parades, races and
other emergency situations.

I am married to KF4TLL, Sherland who is a technician.

I have one son, KG4TWS, Scott who is a general class.
